WINE MAKING

The wine Valpolicella obtained by this grapes undergoes the Ripasso method. It is blended with the squeezed skins used to make Amarone wine to obtain a second refermentation. It gives an extraordinary structure to the wine.

COLOR

Ruby red color, with garnet reflections.

SENSORY EVALUATION

On the nose it displays aromas of almond and cinnamon. Dry on the palate with a very pleasant velvety taste. Very rich in flavours of cherry, musck, spices and wood.

FOOD SUGGESTIONS

Perfect with all international meat dishes, game and long-seasoned cheeses.

“Le Fattorie” incorporates the history of Montresor in the area. Its 4 wines are the symbol of the terroir that identify the company’s nuances and versatility. Three wines express the characteristic nature of the three key areas in our region: the Soave, Lugana and Valpolicella areas. The fourth wine, a pure Cabernet Sauvignon, contains the Montresor’s French origins in its elegance.
