In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica.
Selected bunches of grapes are placed in small racks and left to dry for about 3 months. Then the grapes are softly crushed; the maceration process lasts up to 30 days. Afterwards, it is racked and refines in barriqe and big oak casks (French and Slavonian wood) for 3 years before bottling.
Deep and intense ruby red color.
On the nose it displays characteristic fruity and musky notes. Dry and warm on the palate, slightly bitterish with scents of spices and violet, liquorice, blackberry and ripe cherry.
Good companion to all meat dishes and game of the international cuisine and matured cheeses. Meditation wine. Uncork the bottle one hour in advance. The use of a decanter is recommended.
