Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
Valpolicella Ripasso DOP Superiore
Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG
Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Oseleta grapes all grow on the three types of Valpolicella soil.
Areas with red soil over Cretaceous debris or marl, red soil over Eocenic limestone and compact soil over basalt. Grapes with different biological and organoleptic expressions grow from these three sub-zones, which mark the final notes of the wines. Using these premises, at the end of the 19th century, Giacomo Montresor began to select the lands that gifted the most particular, unique expressions. This research then gave life to the “Le Selezioni” line, where Giacomo’s willpower was expressed in the Ripasso, in the Amarone and in the father of Valpolicella wines, Recioto.
“Le Fattorie” incorporates the history of Montresor in the area. Its 4 wines are the symbol of the terroir that identify the company’s nuances and versatility. Three wines express the characteristic nature of the three key areas in our region: the Soave, Lugana and Valpolicella areas. The fourth wine, a pure Cabernet Sauvignon, contains the Montresor’s French origins in its elegance.
